2 16oz containers of sour cream
2 cups of sugar
2 packages of coconut
1 (Your Choice) Butter Recipe cake mix
Mix cake mix and bake cake....let cool for 30 minutes.
Mix together rest of ingredients and refrigerate until use.
When cake is cooled, cut cake in half, lengthwise, so that you actually have four layers of cake.
Spread Icing.
When finished, eat slice, then immediately thank God Almighty, Himself for allowing you the privilege to eat this little slice of heaven.

You're Kidding, Right?????
Yesterday, I awoke to the likes of Westboro Baptist Church telling me that Good Ol' Santy Clause was gonna take me to hell. THAT was an eye-opener. This morning, I crank up my daily dose of Drudge and what to my wondering eyes should appear??? Another article about Congress raping my rear. Check THIS out.
That's right, Folks. Congress has voted themselves another raise. Not just a raise but a $4,700.00 per year raise. With more than two million people having lost their jobs due to what can only be described as "Congressional fuck-ups and miscues, those rotten, filthy, slimey, greed-head, goat rapists have the audacity to give themselves more money. Well....We can't blame them, really. Bribes cost money. Private School tuitions cost money. Whores and mistresses cost money. We, as taxpayers, need to understand the expenses involved with being a member (member is an appropriate word, here) of Congress....Yeah....Riiiiiight.
Really??? You guys really think you're entitled to a raise? You really feel like you've all done such a good job with things that you should now be able to reap your rewards? With an 18% approval rating???
Hey Buster, let me go ahead and say this now. I, as one of your employers, am NOT ANYWHERE NEAR satisfied with your job performance. As a matter of fact, I think you should all take a pay cut down to sayyyyyy, ONE DOLLAR PER YEAR.....At least until the economy is back on track. Add up the combined yearly salaries of Congress and Senate and apply that to the "Bailouts". After all, isn't it YOUR "patriotic duty" to come to the aide of YOUR Country?

Merry Christmas?
I will begin this with: I am a Christian and I hold Christian beliefs. I'm not any particular "Brand" of Christian, in that I don't subscribe to any one particular doctrine. I don't think the Catholics have any more insight into my immortal soul than the Baptists. Also, for the record, I was brought up in a Baptist church.
I wanted to lead off with those statements to re-enforce THIS statement: THESE PEOPLE DO NOT REPRESENT CHRISTIANS, ANYWHERE!!
Meet the Westboro Baptist Church. I'm sure everyone has heard of these people and their antics. They're the ones that like to go to the funerals of Fallen Soldiers and protest. They hold signs that berate homosexuals with threats of fire and brimstone. Some of their signs tell everyone that the soldier being buried was actually killed by God out of anger over two guys bangin each other in a bathroom.
Ya know, you don't have to be a Christian to see how terribly fucked up their logic is. Hell, I'd be willing to bet that even some atheists would be willing to concede that those people are fucked up four ways from Sunday.
And, just when you thought they couldn't top their last "Festival of Stupidity", out comes "Santa Clause will take you to hell". Come on, man. You bastards have to pick on Santy Clause, too? I noticed on one of the signs, a pictogram of two stick figures cornholin' in the corner. What the hell does that have to do with Christmas? I mean, really....
I get that the world is fucked up like one big ol' soup sandwich. I get that people everywhere are living selfish, debauched lifestyles. I get that corporate greed is going to be one of the downfalls of civilazation, as we know it. And, I even get that God is probably more than a little pissed at his children. But, I like to think that good ol' Santy Clause is like, one of the last GOOD things left on this Earth. Christmas is the one time of year when people , in their own convoluted way, tend to stop thinking of themselves and genuinely try to do some good. Believe it or not, some people still celebrate the day as the birth of Jesus Christ. And, even if they dont celebrate it for that, it's still looked at as a Season For GIVING. To say that "God hates Christmas" is not only stupid, it's disrespectful.
It's true that Christians are their own worst enemy, sometimes. However, THESE PEOPLE DO NOT REPRESENT CHRISTIANITY ANY MORE THAN MUSLIMS REPRESENT TERRORISM. There are idiots everywhere. Please don't judge us by our worst examples.

An Open Letter to Corporate America
Dear Sirs,
You rotten, filthy, slime covered, greed-head, goat-fucks. Congratulations, your worship of the Almighty Dollar has finally caused the World economy to collapse. Your inability to control your own greed has resulted in financial ruin for the whole country. I am so angry right now, that I find it difficult to organize my thoughts enough to put them in some cohesive form. So, cohesive or not, here goes:
Earlier in the year, we, the American people, were told that due to the price of oil, people could not afford the costs of fuel. That caused many companies to cut hours, production and even jobs. The construction industry began to suffer and no new homes were being built. Also, with many people being laid off or losing their jobs altogether, mortgages were not being paid and as a result of THAT, banks began to foreclose on many properties. As a result of THAT, the banking industry was left with a shit load of bad debt. As a result of THAT, many banks were left with more debt than they had assets. As a result of THAT, the banks began to fail. Since FDIC is only good up to 150,000 dollars the banks had to go to Uncle Sugar (Congress) and say, "Please Sir, may I have some more?" Congress, being a veritable cornucopia of rotten, filthy, slime covered, greed-head, goat-fucks, themselves, agreed to bail out the banking industry. Because, after all, who are they to cast stones? Not to mention, the coffers are virtually running over with money collected from the great citizens of this country, who are only too willing to do their "patriotic" duty and give up up to one half of their incomes at the stroke of a pen. The pen is indeed, mightier than the sword, eh?
Upon receipt of this influx of cash, we, the American people, find out that some of the money we gave ( not so willingly or cheerfully, I might add) went to posh resorts for the purpose of "schmoozing" their clientele. Not smart. But hey, we're Americans, right? We can take it. What's one more fleecing / ass raping by Congress. After all, it's only money.
Not to be outdone, theAuto making industry in this country took a look at their books and realized that maybe, perhaps, they had a little more going out than was coming in. So, off to Congress they went. Congress knew from their previous dealings over bail-outs, that the American people can only take being cornholed in small doses. But, they were willing to listen. One of the first things brought to light was the fact that the CEO's of the three auto makers had all flown to Washington in their own private jets that cost upwards in the amount of 20 million dollars apiece. Once again...Not smart, Bubba. The auto makers' reply: "Why are you bringin' up old shit?"
Congress sent them packing without so much as even listening to what they had to say. (Much to the amusement of the American people) More or less, they were told not to come back until they had (a) a damn good reason for the need for so much cash. (b) A damn good means of paying the money back. And finally, (c) a willingness to make some serious concessions for said cash.
Back to their respective companies they went. They met with other greed-head leaders and bean counters and came up with a plethora of reasons that it was essential they receive this money. "We'll have to close plants." "People are going to lose their jobs." We won't be able to make any more cars." "The foreign manufacturers will be the only ones making cars in this country!" And my personal favorite: "BANKRUPTCY IS NOT AN OPTION!!"
So, in other words, your business model has failed. The competition is out-doing you. You're bleeding money like a sieve. Your company has spent more money than it made and you're in over your collective heads and you see no way out without a huge influx of cash. The labor that you hired to build your automobiles has caught the "greed bug" themselves and aren't willing to budge an inch on how much money it will take for them to be willing to BE the labor end of your organisation. Under the present conditions, you can't afford to pay them to work so, therefore, you have no product being produced. Thus, no money coming in to repay a loan of any kind.
Now...Tell me how this is MY problem. Tell me, as an American Taxpayer, ( You know, the one who'll be "loaning" you this money ) how you're a good credit risk. If I went to you, right now, to try and buy one of your automobiles, with my individual credit rating, you'd throw me out of your building, after you stopped laughing. Yet, here you stand with the nerve and audacity to ask ME for some of MY money that I have to scrape and scrounge for, myself. And trust me when I say...Right now, your credit looks much worse than mine. See, I've never had my hands on millions of ANYTHING that was mine to keep or to lose. But, I feel that I could honestly say that if I DID have those millions, I'd make it a point to at least TRY to keep as much of it as possible. You know, just in case things didn't work out like I thought they would.
You see, that's how life is for the other 98 percent of the people in this and every other country in the "Free World".
You're not the only ones with money problems, Jack. The wolves are at ALL of our doors. And for you to stand there and act as if your money problems are more important to the welfare of this country than mine, only makes me want to rip out your collective spleens and do the Snoopy dance on your entrails, all the more.
I do know this, though: When I contracted Lymphoma and was unable to work and keep up with the necessary payments on my own home, there was no one there from Uncle Sugar with a big, fat, bailout check for me and my family. It was, "Sorry Bub. Shit happens." "Just be patient and buck up, little cowboy." "Things will surely get better." "You're still gonna lose your shit, though."
My question to you is this:
Why are your fuck-ups not yours to deal with? And... What are you gonna do for me?
Oh, and we DON'T need "more of the same". We can do this bad all by ourselves, thank you.
My advise to you is this:
Go ask the banking industry for the money...We just loaned them a shit-load. You can't have mine.

Joe The Plumber Needs To Die? Are You Serious?
This morning, I was awakened with a story about a San Francisco radio show host calling for the death of Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, AKA "Joe the Plumber". What??!! Really???? Let me get this straight...Because a man asked a tough question of a Presidential candidate, (in a respectful manner I might add) it's time to call for his death? And you guys think right-wingers are coo-coos? Go here to read the full article. Also...Look for yourself and see how much coverage the "mainstream" media gives this story.
Ya know, I knew this was gonna be a lulu of an election. I even said so in an earlier blog. I expected death threats on the candidates. Let's face it, for some of the things our politicians do to this country, a little tough talk is a good thing, if for no other reason than to keep them honest. But, to call for a citizens death for merely asking a question is absurd. If Mr. Obama had answered the question in a way that Joe the Plumber agreed with him, he would have been hailed as a patriot and a hero to the democratic party. After all, supposedly, he is one of them. You know, the "middle class".
I have heard similar threats, myself in my own home town. In a local grocery store, this has been overheard: "If Obama loses this election, there's gonna be blood in these streets." Blood? Over an election? And it's not the candidates? You have got to be kidding.
So, to you who feel that strongly about this, let me say now, publically. I take all threats against my family VERY seriously. I've already got PTSD from combat. As far as I'm concerned, a little more of it from defense of my family is okay with me. At one time, I took an oath, "to support and defend the constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, both foreign and DOMESTIC". I feel even more stongly with regards to my family. DON'T MAKE ME LIVE UP TO IT. PLEASE.
If you want to fight me, do it with your votes. At least you'll get to live to see the results.

You Decide
Much thanks to my friend, Jessie Odell for sending me this email. Let me just say that I do not believe that Barack Obama is the anti-Christ. That's giving the man wayyyyy more credit than I think is due. Having said that, I DO feel that he is not the man he portrays himself to be. Loren and Celeste Davis are Missionaries to Kenya. They have been for 20 yrs. They are very familiar with Barack Obama. Let's see what they have to say:

Thanks for sending out an alert about Obama. We are living and working in Kenya for almost twelve years now and know his family (tribe) well. They are the ones who were behind the recent Presidential election chaos here. Thousands of people have been displaced by election violence (over 350,000) and I don't know the last count of the dead. Obama, under 'friends of Obama' gave almost a million dollars to the opposition campaign who just happened to be his cousin, Raila Odinga, who is a socialist trained in east Germany ... He has been trying to bring Kenya down for years and the last president threw him in prison for trying to subvert this country! December 27th elections brought cries from ODM (Odinga Camp) of rigged election. Obama and Raila speak daily. As we watch Obama rise in the US we are sure that whatever happens, he will use the same tactic, crying rigged election if he doesn't win, and possibly cause a race war in America

What we would like you to know is what the American press has been keeping a dirty little secret. Obama IS a Muslim and he IS a racist and this is a fulfillment of the 9-11 threat that was just the beginning. Jihad is the only true Muslim way. We have been working with them for 20 years this July! He is not an American as we know it. Please encourage your friends and associates not to be taken in by those that are promoting him. It is world wide jihad. All our friends in Europe are very disturbed by the Muslim infiltration into their countries.
By the way, his true name is Barak Hussein Mu hammed Obama. Won't that sound sweet to our enemies as they swear him in on the Koran!?

Okay Folks....Here We Go Aain

US??? Ya know, for a campaign that frowns so much on "The Race Card", that sounds suspiciously racist. While our society isn't perfect and it's not difficult to find examples of racism in our country, to feed the beast that is racism with more racism just doesn't seem the way to win the fight. The American people were remarkably short-sided when Mr. Obama's pastor of more than 20 yrs. was taped giving a "kill whitey" sermon. (I'm sure he only did that when Mr. Obama wasn't present".) Incredibly, when he smiles and say's I'm gonna take money from the most successful and give it to the least successful, nobody blinked. When he says he knows how to end the war in Iraq without ever having visited the war theater. I'm curious to know, what's it gonna take for people to see this man for what he really is?

Sarah Palin discussed it in her acceptance speech when she said something to the effect of "he won't smile to your faces and tell you how he's got your back and then turn around and make fun of you to another group of people."

Recently, my eyes have been opened to just how volatile things have become as a result of this election. Politics and religion have always been hot button topics. That's why it's considered good etiquette to never discuss either of them amongst friends. If you want to stay friends, that is. But the level of venom being spewed these days has reached the level of ridiculous. Here we are, screaming at each other as if we're the ones who are to blame for all of our country's problems. For any of us to be putting John McCain or Barack Obama on this "Messianic" platform is just sheer stupidity. If you're truly convinced that either of them can fix a damn thing in this country, you're as delussional as they hope you are. Our problems begin and end in Congress and Senate. Why is that so hard to understand? Didn't we get this stuff in eighth grade Civics? Obama!! McCain!! Buh-buh-buh- bullshit!!!! I think it's clear who'll get my vote for the office but I ain't trying to put him there because I think he's our Savior. Just cuz I think he's the most QUALIFIED. I'm more concerned with Congress. You remember them, don't you? They're the ones with the 9% approval rating. That's even lower than George Bush's! That's where we need to start and STAY!!!

The Economy's In The Tank And The Fish Don't Like It Either
Okay...It's official...the economy has hit the tank. No matter which political party you choose to support, there's plenty of blame to go around. Most of the blame is being thrown squarely into the lap of George Bush. I guess the imaginary "Bush Doctrine" will no doubt be held responsible by the history books. But, who is really to blame? Does it truly begin and end with the man that occupies the White House? Is it me or wasn't our Constitution fashioned to prevent the Office of President from spending money all willy nilly without Congress's consent? I think the key words there are CONGRESS'S CONSENT.
So where exactly does the blame lie? How did we get here? What has happened exactly? And who in the hell is Fannie Mae and Freddie whats-his-name? And who are these damned Lehman brothers? What did they do and how come it effects me, anyway? And, if the the price of oil has dropped, how come the cost of gas hasn't come back down? Whew....okay....one at a time.

What caused all of this?
The question can be answered with one word....OIL You can say whatever you want but I truly feel that all of this stems from the huge increase in the price of a barrel of fucking oil. On Sept. 11, 2001, the lives of every American citizen were changed forever. That day, events were set in motion that can only be stopped by the United States becoming INDEPENDENT from foreign oil. Do you remember what the price of gas was prior to that date? I do. In my own particular region of the country, one gallon of unleaded gasoline was 99 cents. When it jumped over 100% overnight, every person in America felt the crunch. Every business, every government facility, everyone and everything that depended on transportation in any way was affected by it. Fuel surcharges started popping up everywhere from grocery stores to drug dealers. Because of the rising cost of fuel, companies had to lay off, without jobs, people couldn't afford to make their mortgage payments much less BUILD houses. With no new homes being built, more jobs (contractors) were lost. Since folks were having such a hard time paying their mortgages and property taxes, the idea of vacationing and travel are a distant memory. There goes the "tourist dollar".
You see? Our dependence on foreign oil has more or less collapsed our economy. We've let countries that want to witness our demise control one of the main elements of our economy. Does the blame for that lie solely in the lap of the President? Not hardly. It's our own fault for being content and not exploring new technologies. We've allowed our Congressmen and Senators to be bought and sold by people who clearly, do not represent our interests.
It's time to focus, people. It's not just about McCain and Obama. It's much more local than that. The Democrats and Republicans that make up our government come from our own home towns. It's time they know they're being watched.
The Office of the President is very important but not as important as our own representatives from our own states and districts. If we force them to do their jobs, the President will have no choice but to fall in line. It's called checks and balances but it only works when we, as a people get involved.

Off Our Butts and On Our Feet
There are many things that bother me about this upcoming election. The mudslinging, the name calling, the media bias, the lies....I could go on. Something that bothers me to no end, though, is the single-mindedness of my fellow Americans. There are people in this country who vote strictly along their party's line. My own father is one of them. He say's he'll have relations with cattle before he ever votes for a Republican. Even if the Democratic Candidate was under indictment. I have friends that are so worried that they won't be able to call themselves "married", that they won't even consider voting for a conservative. If you ask the average American how their congressman voted last year, I guarantee at least 60% will have no clue.
People look at voting like they're launching a missile. "Fire and forget". We act, sometimes, as if our responsibility ends the minute we pull the lever in the voting booth.
If you owned a business, are you going to hire someone and never check up to see that they're doing what they were hired for? Of course not. Human nature being what it is, the temptation to take short-cuts or to do "their own thing", gets to everyone. Your business will self-destruct in no time. Our country is no different.
We would have no need for rhetoric and mudslinging if every citizen that voted kept their public servants in check. If the constituents kept better tabs on them, and kept them informed of how they were supposed to be voting, they wouldn't have time to be dipping into the cookie jar of corruption. If every time a politician blinked, one of his constituents was looking over his shoulder, how could he possibly get away with corruption. If the people would lobby for themselves, the high-powered lobbyists is D.C. would be out of a job.
This country is bigger than any one single issue. This election comes down to more than just one issue. Republican or Democrat or Independent, or Green Party, whoever...Each one has their own plan for this country. But this country doesn't need a rubber stamp ruler that's only going to vote the way "The Party" tells them too.
Stop blaming the politicians. It's us that's laying down on the job.

Are You Satisfied?
It can go without saying, The United States is one groovy place to live. No other country on the planet enjoys the level of freedom that we enjoy here. The old cliche, "Freedom ain't Free" didn't just come out of thin air, either. Going all the way back to the American Revolution, (or the Insurrection, if you're a Brit) there are countless examples of men and women giving their lives just for the very idea of "ultimate freedom".
The Freedom to Chose
One of the constant themes of the Christian Bible is that God gives us all the freedom to chose our own paths. It also warns that with choice comes consequence.
What am I getting at? I'm getting at the fact that we CHOOSE to elect incompetent, uncaring, unsympathetic, corrupt, sub-human career politician every single election. At the same time, we have the audacity to look surprised when the economy is in the tank or when we become embroiled in a war that the people genuinely didn't want....or maybe the people DID want it....who knows...nobody asked the PEOPLE what they wanted. Why? Because we, the people, elect people to represent our interests in Congress and Senate. If they do not vote the way the people of their respective districts tell them to, then they are in direct violation of the Oath that they take before they get into office. If the people get loud enough and adamant enough, the wrong doer can be removed from office. If not by impeachment, then by process of election. Which brings me to now.
Right now, our precious FREEDOM is at risk. If we, as Americans, fail to involve ourselves with the issues of the world around us, then we are doomed. Sound too gloomy? Good. Picture this: You move into your ideal home. You've never been happier living anywhere else in your life. You're kickin' butt at work, spiritually, you've never felt better, the bank loves you, velvet ropes part when you enter. What makes it great is that it's all paid for. You owe nothing and own it all. The only problem is that the people who occupy the surrounding area don't take care of the land and it falls into disarray. Eventually, the diseases from their property encroach onto yours and your property value plummets to the point that you end up losing everything you invested in the property you loved so much. How would you feel, then?
Now, imagine you're a veteran and you have shed both your own blood and the blood of the enemies of your country, all at your countries behest. You've volunteered to sacrifice your own life so that those you love can have a better life. When you return home, you find that the country you fought for doesn't even care about itself.

Wanted: Your Best Evidence Of Political Corruption
Okay....the only way we're gonna have a country worth a damn is if we, the people get off our asses and take it back. You only have to open your local newspapers and you'll find plenty of examples of corruption. I feel like it's our own fault that so much corruption exists. It's mainly because everyone feels like there's nothing they, as an individual, can do to stop it. It took one person to blow the whistle and bring down the Nixon Administration. It only took one person to call The Enquirer and tell them what they spotted John Edwards with a woman that wasn't his wife. My point is this...if you know of a politician in your home town or your state that's not doing the job that he/she was elected to do, then by all means, contact us at the Redneck Radio News. Dear Mr. Obama....I Want My Vote Back
Dear Mr. Obama,
I voted for you in the primary election. I voted based on what I'd seen in the media as well as some of the speeches you'd made. You spoke of change. I, like a lot of other Americans am ready for some change in this country.
As a senator, I thought you'd dedicated your life to changing the status quo.
Since then, I've researched you and your voting record. I've looked at Legislature that you've championed but not authored. I regret to inform you sir, that I now am taking my vote back. I heard you say in one of your eloquent speeches that "the issues and your stance on them" would speak for themselves to the American people.
I researched the issues and this is what I found:
Issue: The price of oil / gas. Foreign Oil dependence.
McCain/Palin- Sarah Palin has already begun a project in her home state to build a natural gas pipeline to the United States. It's cheaper and easier and cleaner burning and we have an abundant supply in Alaska. John McCain Will Propose A $300 Million Prize To Improve Battery Technology For Full Commercial Development Of Plug-In Hybrid And Fully Electric Automobiles. See "Lexington Project" for more info. John McCain want's to build 45 more nuclear plants in this country.
Obama/Biden- Barack Obama has promised to eliminate Our Need for Middle Eastern and Venezuelan Oil within 10 Years....I say again...10 yrs. Also, he promises to Put 1 million Plug-In Hybrid cars -- cars that can get up to 150 miles per gallon -- on the road by 2015, cars that we will work to make sure are built here in America. Not a bad idea. Barack Obama is firmly set against nuclear power.
Issue: Taxes / Economy
McCain/Palin- John McCain wants to put a 35% ceiling on the Income Tax, maintain the 15 percent rates on dividends and capital gains, and phase-out the Alternative Minimum Tax. Small businesses are the heart of job growth; raising taxes on them hurts everybody. Hard to make a business grow when it's bleeding out to the government.
Obama/Biden- Barack is planning on raising the taxes on small business, income and sales. He want's to raise the death tax....I say again...The Death Tax. His philosophy is that if we raise the taxes high enough we can pay down on the national deficit that he helped raise.
Issue: Defense / Offense of our Nation:
McCain/Palin- John McCain served in the Armed Forces and was highly decorated for his service and sacrifice. He has a working knowledge of the military and how it works and operates. He has operated in a foreign theater as part of the military as well as diplomatically. He has made several trips to Iraq and Afghanistan, visited the troops and spoken with Military as well as foreign officials on what it would take to end this crisis. John McCain was the major force behind the "Surge" in Iraq. Sarah Palin, as govenor was the commander in cheif of the Guard in Alaska. Also, Alaska borders two foreign countries by itself. Canada and RUSSIA.
Obama/Biden- Barak Obama has never served in the military and Joe Biden avoided the draft because he had Asthma. ( See story of Michael Monsoor ) Barak Obama says he has a withdrawl plan for our forces in Iraq and has yet to visit the country or visit any of the troops.
If I seem a little biased, maybe it's because I am. But I think the issues speak for themselves.

McCain/Palin- Sarah Palin has already begun a project in her home state to build a natural gas pipeline to the United States. It's cheaper and easier and cleaner burning and we have an abundant supply in Alaska. John McCain want's to build 45 more nuclear plants in this country.
Obama/Biden- Barack Obama has promised to eliminate Our Need for Middle Eastern and Venezuelan Oil within 10 Years....I say again...10 yrs. Also, he promises to Put 1 million Plug-In Hybrid cars -- cars that can get up to 150 miles per gallon -- on the road by 2015, cars that we will work to make sure are built here in America. Not a bad idea. Barack Obama is firmly set against nuclear power.
Issue: Taxes / Economy
McCain/Palin- John McCain wants to put a 35% ceiling on the Income Tax, maintain the 15 percent rates on dividends and capital gains, and phase-out the Alternative Minimum Tax. Small businesses are the heart of job growth; raising taxes on them hurts everybody. Hard to make a business grow when it's bleeding out to the government.
Obama/Biden- Barack is planning on raising the taxes on small business, income and sales. He want's to raise the death tax....I say again...The Death Tax. His philosophy is that if we raise the taxes high enough we can pay down on the national deficit that he helped raise.
Issue: Defense / Offense of our Nation:
McCain/Palin- John McCain served in the Armed Forces and was highly decorated for his service and sacrifice. He has a working knowledge of the military and how it works and operates. He has operated in a foreign theater as part of the military as well as diplomatically. He has made several trips to Iraq and Afghanistan, visited the troops and spoken with Military as well as foreign officials on what it would take to end this crisis. John McCain was the major force behind the "Surge" in Iraq. Sarah Palin, as govenor was the commander in cheif of the Guard in Alaska. Also, Alaska borders two foreign countries by itself. Canada and RUSSIA.
Obama/Biden- Barak Obama has never served in the military and Joe Biden avoided the draft because he had Asthma. ( See story of Michael Monsoor ) Barak Obama says he has a withdrawl plan for our forces in Iraq and has yet to visit the country or visit any of the troops.
If I seem a little biased, maybe it's because I am. But I think the issues speak for themselves.
